Welcome back to BrianaChantel v. COM 336. If you caught the slight nod to Jay-Z in the title for this post (or, at the very least, found the title amusing) your welcome back has been quantified. Outdated hip-hop culture puns aside, this post ventures into the land of wikiHow. To be even less vague about the nature of today's post, there are three interesting topics that somehow managed to not be on wikiHow at all.

wikiHow Topic One
How to Create Single Stripe Vertical Gradient Nail Art
The idea for this topic came about due to the rising nail art trend of a singular stripe of gradient that is vertically placed on the nail bed. With this current trend sweeping Instagram nail art feature accounts and nail technician workstations alike, a tutorial for this particular look is worth the creation. Not only can it be done in a salon by a licensed nail tech, it can be done at home by any DIY nail art enthusiast.

How to Create Holographic Heart Nail Art
This idea is in rooted in the spirit of Valentine’s Day and the deep affection held for holographic nail lacquer in the nail polish community.—yes, the nail polish community is a real thing. No, seriously it really is.—Nothing says “I love you nails” like heart nail art!

wikiHow Topic Three
How to Stay Interested in Your College Coursework
Oh, the dreaded and monotonous thing that is homework. What’s even worse than homework? Homework one likely takes out a small fortune in loans to have. That’s right, this wikiHow is about staying interested in the homework one is assigned in college.


While two of these topics cater to a more niche demographic and psychographic than the last topic, all three of them are capable of assisting the mass of people within them.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Everyone on that Information Super Highway has a favorite website. But what makes those websites a success or a failure? eBay Cons 1. When landing on the homepage, the user is immediately inundated with a lot of visuals, almost too many. 2. The option to sign in or create an account is far too small and tucked away in the upper right-hand corner for a user to notice immediately. If one does not know where to look for it, hen one may have difficulty finding it. Pros 1. One can shop for literally any and everything on this site. 2. Things on eBay are generally cheaper than Amazon. Twitter Cons 1. In the age of social media, Twitter and the like can breed too much familiarity with strangers. 2.
